I. General Behavior & Etiquette
- Respect Others: All members must treat others with respect and civility. Insults, personal attacks, threats, or any form of harassment (bullying, doxxing, stalking) are strictly prohibited.
- Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech: There is a zero-tolerance policy for any form of hate speech, bigotry, or discrimination, including but not limited to, comments based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
- No Trolling or Inciting Drama: Do not post controversial messages purely to provoke a negative response or cause drama. Avoid "playing the rules game" or making frivolous reports.
- Keep it Safe for Work (SFW): No sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise adult content is allowed anywhere on the forums. This extends to user avatars, signatures, and links.
- Use Common Sense: While these rules provide a framework, staff will exercise discretion. If an admin or moderator asks you to stop a behavior, do so immediately.
- Stay on Topic: Post comments and questions in the appropriate forum sections or channels. Off-topic discussions may be moved or removed by moderators to keep the forums organized.
- No Spam or Advertising: Do not spam messages, flood forums with low-effort posts, or post chain messages. Advertising other game servers, commercial products, or services is not allowed without prior approval from the administration.
- Language: As this is an English-speaking community, all communication must be in English for moderation purposes. Avoid using excessive "txt spk" or all caps, as it is considered shouting.
- Protect Personal Information: Never share your own or another member's private or identifying information (real name, address, financial details, etc.). Staff will never ask for your password or other sensitive personal details.
- Spoilers: Use appropriate spoiler tags for major game story or event spoilers to be considerate of other players.
- No Cheating, Hacking, or Exploiting: The use of any cheats, hacks, or exploits of bugs for personal advantage is strictly forbidden in the game server and should not be discussed on the forums. Report any bugs or exploits privately to the staff via the appropriate reporting system.
- Respect the Game & Lore: While ACEmulator servers can have custom rulesets, all players are expected to respect the server's specific gameplay rules and contribute positively to the community experience.
- Respect Staff Decisions: Administrative staff are volunteers who donate their time to maintain a quality environment. Their rulings are final in the field, and public complaints about moderation decisions are not permitted.
- Reporting Issues: If you witness a rule violation or have an issue with a player or admin, use the official reporting tools or private messaging system to contact the staff. Do not engage in public arguments with rule-breakers.
